CDL Driver – Mulch & Stone Delivery
Maple Lane Nursery is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport and deliver mulch, stone, soil, and other landscape materials to residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate has experience operating dump trucks, navigating local routes efficiently, and providing excellent customer service.
Essential Functions
- Safely operate CDL-required vehicles, including dump trucks and trailers
- Deliver mulch, stone, gravel, topsoil, and related materials to customer locations
- Load and unload materials using dump mechanisms and other equipment
- Secure loads in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery tickets, logs, and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Assist in yard operations when needed (loading, organizing materials, general labor)
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations
